The dragons are not sleeping indeed!

The last post i had was August 6.

Those were the days when we are so happy accessing different sites through the powerful proxy we had in our firewalled company internet access. It was a work of art. A work of endearing research and a never ending trial and error until finally the bold SURF CONTROL was invisible and the first video from youtube played.

Happiness so quick and borrowed. I wasn't expecting it will be this short. I thought it would last a lifetime.

Surfing other sites (aside from webpages in line with work) is strictly prohibited in my workplace and others too. This is designed to maintain a high standard of service provided to clients, encouraged professionalsim and of course block the entry of undesirable files that may intercept in the company's network and delay or cause damage to company properties (computers, payroll system, and the like). But as usual, pinoy mentality will always triumph. Masarap ang bawal.

Thus, we had the proxy. I ain't a lawbreaker. I'm just merely making the most of my downtime to some educational blog hopping and reading informative sites, updating my friendster account and checking my gmail and yahoomail. Sitting infront your computer for 8 long hours will either make you sleepy or make you bored resulting to unproductivity in the workplace. But now, no more! The IT Department had finally blocked the proxy in their network causing ERROR 404 in the display page. The dragons are not sleeping indeed.

The past few days became boring. The bad weather condition had added to the boredom. It could've been funnier if we can access movielinks for a new downloaded movie or check youtube for Hero's chapter 2. Nevertheless, my fave site comes to rescue me.

I was registered at Yehey a pinoy version of yahoo, ten months ago. Those are the times when Maxthon wasn't discovered yet. Yehey had a chatroom similar to MiRC with people most of which are Filipinos all over the world. The best thing about the site and my favorite is the Trivia where you can answer questions posted and compete among other players all over the globe. It was like a home for me. Several months of inactivity. And since MAxthon was blocked i found myself playing trivia and chatting to some friends at Yehey . A fun venue for socialization, education and entertainment. I haven't updated my Friendsters yet. I'd probably do that right after updating my blog when all the office works are done. And yes i'm at work today.

Did i say i'm at work?

YES. The dragons may have been awaken by then. But the again, they are now sleeping at the comforts of their chairs and that is for infinity till a dragon discovers what made us all busy. Wondering how i access these blocked site? I bet you wanna know.
