My day started early at Ayala Malls Bay Area for the Tourism Summit, a significant event that brought together industry leaders and enthusiasts. While there, I made sure to catch up with my good friend and mentor, Jun, from the print and publishing media industry. We enjoyed a relaxed brunch, where Jun shared his invaluable insights and experiences, reminding me of the importance of staying grounded while continuously pushing the boundaries in our respective fields. Our conversation was a blend of nostalgia and forward-looking ideas, setting a positive tone for the rest of the day.
After the summit concluded around 3 PM, I met up with Joel, another colleague and friend, over coffee and a late lunch. Our meeting was more than just catching up; it turned into an impromptu brainstorming session where we bounced around some exciting business ideas. Joel's sharp business acumen and creative thinking always inspire me, and this time was no different. We discussed potential collaborations and new ventures, leaving me energized and eager to explore these possibilities further.
As the day drew to a close, I headed to Mall of Asia for dinner at Olive Garden with my friends and clients, Julefee and Andrew, who had just returned from Vietnam. It was great to reconnect and hear about their recent store opening in Mindanao. Their enthusiasm and fresh perspectives from their trip added a vibrant energy to our conversation. We discussed their expansion plans, shared some laughs, and celebrated their successes. The day was incredibly productive, filled with meaningful connections, and left me looking forward to the exciting opportunities ahead.
