Japan meets Banaue

Here is another thrilling, tiring and enthralling experience of my so called 'pamumundok'  series. It all started nung nag one night stand kami sa baguio ng friends ko. Don't take it negatively. And to sum it all, mas mahaba pa ang byahe keysa stay namin dun. That is why, i planned on taking a two days off for my next search for native chicken and wild boar.
Kaya naman another plot of conspiracy was made and thank God it was a success. So successful thus I intend to make another trip to Sagada or Benguet this holy week if laryngitis would take effect. Hahahhahah
So here's what happened over the weekend.

This is on top. Kasi pang post card sya! hahahha

Since first time kong makita ang Banaue, sinikap ko talagang bumaba.

The flying animals. Hahahahha

Front View. Ang ganda ng rice terraces. You will be amazed on how it was created even during the primitive times.

Back View. However, the recent development has caused much trouble to the ex-wonder of the world. Development causes decay on the rice terraces. Native houses are rarely seen instead, it was replaced by concrete mansion and galvanized iron sheets that dominates the native skyline of Banaue which does not compliment the genuine essence of a primitive masterpiece!

Unfortunately, even the goverment can't do anything about it. NCCA cannot provide funds to maintain the beauty of the terraces because these are private properties. Accordingly, it is the owners reponsibility to develop, maintain and secure the existence of the terraces for it to last for another millenia.
I wish they will keep it the best way possible. Nakakaloka!

I would like to thank you guys and your family for a nice welcome! Your company rocks.
Salamat ;)
