call center dictionary [updated]

jeff-019This post is dedicated to the owl workers of col ceners! (yes maritess silent "t" sha! hahahah) This is so random pero makakarelate din nito ang mga taong hindi workers sa ganitong industry. Sa inyong pagbabasa, you will understand the stimuli that affects the neurotic conditions of this colboy and colgirls and you will further understand the causes of their abnormal behaviours! Chozz~~~~ Simulan na natin ang tutorials!

Absense - a phenomenon that occurs when you were not able to sleep at daytime. Gala ka kasi ng gala! Tseh!

Salary - the force that motivates you to go to work.

Late - happens when its raining and its payday!

13th month pay - the thing to wait for before resignation! (kelan kaya ibibigay to, december na pala next week. hahahhahaha)

ID - something to confiscate when you are using cellphone and sleeping on the floor.

Call - makes you fall asleep faster than a sleeping pill.

Clinic - home of best actors and actresses.

NCNS - no call, no show. It happens when you had short time and forgot to call in for your late time.

First Break - happens two hours after shift. The time to freshen up, do make up, get some coffee or smoke ng bonggang-bongga!

Lunch - time to greet the unfriendly staffs of 7eleven and ministop or 24-hour jolibee and mcdo.

Locker - a place where theives flock during their lunch or breaks.

Station - a place where agents learned how to sleep while sitting and take power naps. (sorry pero topnotch ako nito!) :D

QA - (quality assurance) a term used for someone who listened to agent's call and rate it according to standards.

Account - a term used for products or services you offered. Like pau de arco, vacuum cleaner or tawas.

Personal windows - internet browser other than the tools used for the account and are extremely prohibited. Tulad ng friendster, myspace, tagged, pornsites, yahoomail, gmail, hotmail, blogger and wordpress! Nyahahahahah :D

At heto ang dagdag sa listahan! (ang kulit kasi ng katabi ko...tseh!)

Sup call - a term used when transferring your call to a supervisor. This happens when customer demands for a supervisor, when you cannot handle the issue and needs escalation or talagang tanga ang agent at hindi naiintindihan ang galit na customer.

Qeueing - a jargon that is synonymous to toxic or fatal. This is applicable to times when there are 10 agents available and there are 500 calls waiting.

Aux 1 - a button to press when you want to have a quickie! Otherwise known as 'personal'. Ten minutes to be exact. Hindi pwede gamitin for yosi lalo na pag galing ka pa ng 32nd floor at mabagal ang elevator.

Aux 2 - a button pressed if you want to go on break. Time limit: 15 minutes!

Aux 7 - a button used to go on lunch. Isang oras to neng!

May three way conferencing, 3 lines at call waiting options, loudspeaker, sariling directory at voicemail feature!
