After six long months apart, I had the pleasure of catching up with my friend Watazu, who was not only a close friend but also my most billable talent from Geisha Studios. Our week together was a much-needed reunion, filled with laughter, reminiscences, and a lot of great food. It was amazing to see how much has changed in both our lives and to reconnect over shared experiences and new adventures.
One of the highlights of our time together was exploring the local food scene. We indulged in numerous food trips, savoring everything from street food to gourmet dishes. Each meal was an opportunity to enjoy not just delicious flavors but also each other’s company. Another memorable moment was visiting our friend Haidee at Octopus, a popular bar in Poblacion, Makati who treats us with a bottle of Patron and Grey Goose. The vibrant atmosphere and great conversation made it a perfect setting to catch up and unwind.
And oh, did I say he is a STAR? Hell yeah! He is one of our most sought after Talent at Geisha Studios. You can check him out on Youtube, Spotify, and Apple Music. But trust me, the worldwide communities of dancesport knows him so well.
Spending a week with Watazu reminded me of the importance of maintaining close friendships, no matter how busy life gets. The time we shared was both refreshing and inspiring, and I’m grateful for the chance to reconnect. Here’s to many more moments like these and to the enduring bonds of friendship that withstand the test of time and distance.
