From Manila to Mindanao: A quick Return for Jack and Kath’s Wedding

After spending two weeks in Manila, I was eager to return to Mindanao for a very special occasion—the wedding of Jack and Kath, where I was honored to be one of the sponsors. It was a joy to witness their union and to catch up with my mentees in Misamis Occidental. Having coached Jack in the past, seeing his growth and success was particularly meaningful. His journey has been a source of inspiration for many young people in the region, and it was wonderful to celebrate this milestone with him.

The wedding provided a perfect opportunity to reconnect with local personalities and entrepreneurs I’ve had the pleasure of mentoring over the years. It was fantastic to catch up with Sally Camanian Jalapit Dunn of KOI Garden Cafe, whose culinary creations continue to delight. I also enjoyed reconnecting with Provincial Director Jane Marie of DTI Lanao del Norte, Kevin Pacatang of Nelly Herbal Coffee Main, Rio Taz De Barras of Juan Café - Aguada, Ozamiz City, Kirstie D. Fuentes of Cristy Pasalubong Food Products, and Romeo Jimenez Jr. of Cribs Diner. Each of these individuals is making a significant impact in their respective fields.

For anyone interested in exploring the incredible talent and products of Mindanao, I highly recommend checking out their pages. From delectable food options to innovative coffee blends and unique local goods, these entrepreneurs continue to showcase the best of what the region has to offer. Their dedication and creativity are truly commendable, and I’m proud to have been part of their journeys.
